Him you need to add considerably more detail to your query and repost, there is not enough information here to answer.
From the little that is here I would say that drivers need to be installed on a windows machine for the OS to recognise any new device being connected to the machine by an y means.
Clearly a driver has not been installed.
If the device being connected is an USB device you shoulg not be surprised if an older pen drive is not recognised by a newer machine or a newer pen/flash drive recognised by an older machine
Anyway, please add rather more detail and submit the query again

How Come My Computer Won't Recognize My iPod?

Diana; you need to go to hardware check your comp settings!

see if it says recognized device or ? control panel

go to my comp click on c drive see what comes up.

might be a problem w your device needs usb enabled to communicate with your pc!
there are apps you can download for usb tethering/connecting devices such as a cell phone.

also try to configure your hardware to recognize the device!
ive been through this a lot!! wish you well!!
hope this helps!!

Changed the display screen not can't connect to the internet says local and wireless card aren't plugged in

usually the screen has two cables that are connected to the wireless card. you won't get signal if you don't plug those in. however.. it is not recognizing your wireless card. go to device manager and check if the drivers are not installed or if the pc is not recognizing it.

right click on my computer, manage. and on the left device manager.

It won't recognize USB ports

Please check this, Go to My Computer and right click. Select manage from the menu. Select device manager on the left hand side and see if there are any ! of any kind that may show missing drivers. If this is the case you may need to go to HP's website and download drivers for your hp mini.

My computer won't read the new camera I've got. Even after installing all info from cd. Have tried camera and it works on tv. It won't let recognise the device on problem either. What can I do?

A camera that works connected to a TV without software is not the proper device to connect to a computer. Check again with your packaging and instructions.
Having a camera working on the computer and then porting the video signal to a TV monitor is the preferred arrangement.
Install the software, reboot, then connect a PC camera, it should be recognized and be testable on Skype, etc.

Im running win7, and it does not recognize this device which is a usb hub 4 port

A lot of times it won't recognize these devices until you plug something into them. Have you tried plugging in a flash drive, printer, etc to see if it's recognizing it but not showing it?
