SOURCE: kenmore gas dryer is not giving out heat

Check the fuse and control thermostat on the blower housing. They provide power to the gas assembly.
If all of that is good then check the flame sensor. If the flame sensor is open then no power will get to the then the common wire to the coils and ignitor will be open causing no heat. Read more

SOURCE: Kenmore gas dryer model #76812690 will not heat.

does the dryer heat initially when you first turn on the dryer Or no heat at all?

the first thing i would check is tthe thermal fuse thats located on the back of the unit. test it with a multimeter and see if it has continuity, if it doesnt then replace that and your operating thermostat. the check to be sure you venting to the outside of your house is not clogged

SOURCE: Kenmore elite dryer no heat

You may want to check if the heating element needs replacing. Most Dryers have 2 heating elements that are found by taking the back off, some of the newer dryers have 3.

Kenmore Elite model #110700932990 dryer has no heat

Hi,

My experience has been that most of the time when a gas dryer does not heat, that the igniter has gone bad...
The other less common problem is that the coils of the gas valve go bad...
Other problems can be the thermostat, the high limit, or the thermal fuse going bad...
Here is a tip that I wrote about not heat in gas dryers...

Kenmore Elite 110.7208201 won't heat up.

Hi

Please check the things that could stop a electric dryer from heating:
- House fuse or breaker (needs two of them), heating element, burnt wire, thermostat(s), thermal fuse (not all models), motor heat switch, timer, selector switch, burnt power cord/plug.
And also check the things that could stop a gas dryer from heating if you have a gas dryer:
- Glow bar igniter, thermal fuse (not all models), coils on the gas valve, gas valve, thermostats, motor heat switch, timer, selector switch, sensor.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
