A used power supplyLSEP1279ANHB wasbought from an ebay installed in a Panasonic TC-P42X1 ,however after 10hrs...it suddenly shut off and the power light started blinking..what could be the issue.

I have actually never been into your Panasonic
TC P60GT50... but have written on a multitude
of other sets...

The principles are the same...
(you will also note your power board is very popular)

You MUST put every wire & fastener exactly back
(FIRST: take pictures & notes to aid reassembly)

You MUST wear anti-static (ESD: electro-static discharge) protection... as the slightest spark (you might not even feel) can cause immense collateral SEMICONDUCTOR damage.

You MUST NOT use force on any connections...!!

You will likely find your POWER BOARD listed by your sets MODEL NUMBER... but it is BEST to VERIFY you numbers YOURSELF...

Replace the power module, buy them on ebay

Try unplugging it completely for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Plug it back in. If it still won't come on, it's likely taken a power surge and popped a fuse or power supply, which means a trip to the service center.

10 blinks for this tv is not always an A Board issue. It can be a problem with the power board as well. A technician should look at the set to dertermine where the problem lies otherwise it is just a guessing game of inni minni miny moe.
