This is a 1967 watch. The battery was a 329.

The 329 may come in two sizes,one is high drain, the other low drain. That means there is a question of fit. However, Bulova documentqtion indicates that the places that sell Bulova watches can supply batteries. You might check the Bulova website for a retailer near you and give that a go. The name for your keepsake is accutron. The tuning fork represents the two coils. Having said that unfortunately if it no longer works their is little you can do. They have been out of production for some time now. But you can replace the entire movement, eBay will be the best place to start for a reasonable price. Your local jeweler will soak you. The most common battery replacement is a renata 394 although i cant be sure unless I see the movement.

try replacing i mean put in a new battery in it..

open it if you can or take it to the nearby watch shop and tell them to clean it- sometimes dust sticks in and it hangs...

Bulova Accutron watches were originally designed to use Mercury batteries of 1.35 volts, since they were the only type manufactured then. The pic (left) shows an original 214 all-metal "top hat" cell, before 387 cells with the plastic spacer became available. In most areas of the world, mercury-based batteries are no longer available, due to environmental concerns related to the safe disposal of them. The Tuning Fork watches manufactured by Esa (e.g the f300 Omega) were designed to run on either mercury or silver oxide batteries without any adjustment, provided the last repairer to work on the watch set up the index mechanism according to factory specifications.
It is strongly recommended that you do not replace batteries yourself, as special tools are required to open the watch case without damaging it. The only exception to this is the Accutron 214 model, which has a small battery hatch on the back.

I would figure your Bulova Accutron is in the area of $125.00------- $200.00 range. Your best bet is to find a jeweler in your area or an appraiser, even online for the latest value of your watch.
