Spray starter into the carb intake with no choke, if she runs for a few seconds then you know its fuel starvation clean jets & airways & blow through with compressed air
hi because you ran engine and it stopped/failed to restar although you renewed fuel which was 2 stroke ? the wrong fuel will be in carb's float chamber and probably ran engine eventually oiled plug may i suggest you clean plug then clean carb out remove main jet and idle and blow them clear so you can see thro them refit and fill f/chamber to 3/4 full then re assemble carb should start then
If the bike has sat for a long period of time without being run - the gas that is sitting in the carb(s) will shellac.. Then the carb(s) would need to be cleaned and "rebuilt"..
dirty gas. the fuel bowl likely has junk in it which plugs the jets as soon as it starts. you may get luck just emptying the carb bowl but a good carb clean and new gas will do the trick. (dump out the old gas
Stihl weedeater was running and stopped suddenly. Put in a new fuel filter and cleaner air filter with soap and water. Checked spark plug and it appeared fine. Started the weedeater, ran for a second or so and stopped. Spark plug wasn't gas fouled. Could it be the carburetor needing new diaphram gasket and spring.
