Turn on the printer, All lights flashing. Press CONTINUE twice, READy ' DATA light is flashing as well as ERROR light is flashing. Press CONTINUE 1 more time TONER LOW light flashes.

Turn on printer READY ' DATA flashing TONER LOW flashing LOAD ' REMOVE PAPER flashing PAPER JAM flashing ERROR flashing PRESS CONTINUE TWICE READY ' DATA flashing TONER LOW off LOAD ' REMOVE PAPER off PAPER JAM off ERROR flashing PRESS CONTINUE ONCE MORE READY ' DATA off TONER LOW flashing LOAD ' REMOVE PAPER off PAPER JAM off ERROR off Am I right thinking that its the toner? or is it something else?

This is a laser error. I found this directly from HP's website. Here's your fix:
  • Press the green c00224695.jpg (Select) button to continue.
  • Turn the printer off, and turn it on again.
  • Perform a cold reset.
    1. Turn on the printer.
    2. Watch the control panel.
    3. When the memory starts counting, press and hold the c00224695.jpg (Select) button.
    4. Continue holding the c00224695.jpg (Select) button until the Ready, Data, and Attention lights flash once, and then stay on steady.
    5. Release the c00224695.jpg (Select) button when the Ready, Data, and Attention light are on steady.
    6. The control panel will display SELECT LANGUAGE .

    Dell 1700n Ready/Data light blinking (secondary fault)

    Ok, try this--1.power off printer 2. open front door 3. press and hold continue and cancel buttons 4. power back on 5. wait until light sequence stops om error 6. power off and back on.

    Problem with printer all buttons flashing

    All lights flashing is an error indication. to learn the problem you'll need a service manaual. The procedure is to hit the Continue button twice - see which lights flash (secondary code) and consult the manual. Then repeat that step and look up the final code (tertiary code) in the manual. This should be the problem.
