How do I get rid of kids desktop - Computers & Internet

Unplug your device from any power source or devices. Open it up and locate the hard drive, which is usually located near the CD drive(s). Unplug all the cables from it, and unscrew any screws you find on it. Then, do whatever you need to do with the drive (I recommend taking it to a professional).

If you don't feel comfortable opening up the tower, take the whole thing to somebody who would know what they're doing.

Right click on the desktop and select "view", then make sure "show desktop items" is checked.

It is pretty easy for a kid to misclick on the desktop and change this setting.

I think easiest way to get over the problem is to uninstall 360 and reinstall it. You can use Reveo uninstaller(Free software) to uninstall it will give you chance to get rid of registery entries for 360. Use moderate settings.

are you the parent or the kid if your the kid none of use are going to bea ble to help thats between you and your parents if you are the parent then...ther really is no way to get rid of it with out the password

Get rid of Norton as soon as you can it's probably trying to use more memory and resources than that poor old girl has.

the easiest way to do this is to use a boot cd/floppy that will allow you to change the administrator password. Here are a few resources:

Before getting rid think twice. Because the value you for second selling is very low, Buying a new one is quite an asset. If the problem you had is minor i suggest to keep it otherwise (Problem with motherboard, processor) then get rid of it.
