SOURCE: How to properly install a microsoft lifechat ZX-6000
Unless your getting an error message which you should post, you will need to go into the app that you want to use it for and make it the new default for that setting. The other thing to be aware of is the green lights down on the underside are green when charging, this doesn't mean it is on or sync'ed
press them both (i pressed both at the same time) and waited until they both stopped flashing green and the green stayed on.
Another tip it doesn't seem to work while it is plugged in to the power ?? (can't 100% confrim this)
ALSO if you can't hear anything, the stupid thing comes with the volume right down. so it doesn;'t matter how loud your computer's sound is you'll think your going crazy, but you need to turn the volume on the actual headset up.
Also it seems that it either turns down auto or when on power or that when you are fiddling with live button too much you might inadvertantly turn down, its really easy to turn all the way down, so you will think the speakers aren't working and change every setting in the book just to find out thats all it is,
