Hi Bruce Lisanti,
My name is Rohan and I work for Dell.
Since you have already replaced the paper tray and fuser, going by the symptoms that you have mentioned, seems to be like an issue with the Feeder assembly. If the printer is in warranty, please call the dell tech support in your country to receive support. If it is not under warranty, we request you to take it to a local technician.

Hp color laserjet pro mfp m283fdw paper jam in tray 2 can't see paper

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Clear the jammed paper: Open tray 2 and remove any jammed paper. Open the rear door and look for and clear any paper present or obstructions in the paper path. Open rear cover. Clear Jam. Close the rear door to allow the printer to attempt to clear the jam message.

Check the fuser unit: If clearing the jammed paper doesn't resolve the issue, it's possible that the paper is stuck in the fuser unit or that the fuser exit sensor is broken. In this case, you will need to remove covers, flat bed scanner, and fuser to check for any obstructions .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz9cTnbuDbw

If these steps don't help, I recommend contacting HP support for further assistance.

Have cleared paper jam and t/o printer but still indicates paper jam

Depending on the make and model of the machine any of the following may be your problem.
Check that the jammed sheet is complete and not torn or missing fragments. Any small piece can catch in a paper feed sensor and registers a paper jam. Check that the paper pickup rollers are "tacky" to touch and do not slip easily on the fingers. If your machine is duplex capable, check the duplexer tray. If it is a laser printer, remove and return the toner cartridge and re-check function. Check the fuser is clear and look for a crumpled sheet of paper leading to the fuser. If your machine will feed paper then reports a jam look along the leading edge for marks indicating where the jam may be occurring. If you have an inkjet machine, try feeding a strip of light card BACK through the paper feed path. Above all - be patient and work it through from the paper tray to the output tray one step at a time.

Sir my printer problem is on printer menu write a clearing paper path what is this massage and give me solution.

Thank you contacting FixYa for your printer inquiry.
This error is associated with either a sheet of paper blocking the paper path or a partial piece of paper that blocks path or trips a sensor. The printer will usually throw up a error code 13.XX on the display and the XX is a number that will indicate where in the paper path this error most probably occurred. Just follow the steps for your error on the below chart.
This link will take you to the user guide which will be helpfull identifying components and providing guidelines for most of the helpful hints and things you will need to know about this printer.

Check sensors and flags in the paper path for proper operation. 3.0 PAPER JAM [LOCATION] A non-specific paper jam occurred. 1. Remove jammed media from the specified location. 2. Lexmark X6570 printer - Cleared paper jam. No paper scraps visible anywhere in printer. Continue to get error message to clear paper jam and then press the "check" button. Does not reset. ...

Ok, the paper jam could be due to one of the following:
  • Check for paper in the paper tray
  • Check the size of the paper in the paper tray to see if it is the same as what the printer is set for.
  • Defective D-roller
  • Debris in the paper path
  • Gears not turning or broken gear
  • Defective paper tray
  • Broken input sensor flag
  • Defective input sensor board
  • Defective system cable 2
  • Defective system board
  • Exit Sensor flag (Fuser)
  • Exit Sensor board (Fuser)
  • System cable 1
First try a hard reset - unplug printer from power source, wait a minute and replug. If it still does not work, uninstall the driver, reboot PC and reinstall (or download latest version from lexmark.com.

If there is no bit of paper or debris stuck in the rollers, it would indicate something more serious, and in need of servicing. If your machine is under warranty, I suggest you take it back to the shop and get it replaced.

If your warranty has run out, then you'll either have to get it serviced or buy a new printer (whichever works out cheaper for you)

Hope that helps!

Jam at top message will not clear and no paper in path

Hello Al_edee,

Try to look at the fuser, when it's cooled down, if there are remains of old or stuck paper in it or to exchange the fuser.

Kind regard,

HP 6210 All-In-One

Open up the top and look into the cartridge/paper print area. Look in the corners, Sometimes little pieces of paper can still be stuck there. Once you are convinced that the paper and cartridge path is clear then...

Pull out the paper tray. Look inside the opening. If there is paper there then pull it out.

Take all of the paper out of the paper tray.
Turn it over (paper on top is now on the bottom of the tray)

Try it now.
