Hi
I have had a look at this problem and the best I can find is a webpage here:
http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php?1303-NextBook-Next7S-Premium-Taken-Apart-with-Pictures!
which does tell you how to get at the battery. However, with its comments about breaking tabs which hold the case together when you take it apart, I'm not sure that I would attempt this. In any case, before you try this, plug the charger into the mains and see if you get a voltage at the tablet end of the charger, using a suitable multimeter, set to a suitable range. If you don't get a voltage here, you need to replace the charger.
I hope this all helps, and just in case you haven't got a manual, you can download one here and save it for future reference:

delete some heavy apps on your tablet or buy a new SD card
It could be as a result of something on the screen or possibly even a bad digitizer connection.
I have experienced this problem when I replaced a tablet digitizer and it was not seated properly.
I removed the digitizer and reseated it.
It has worked since.
I have seen things on the digitizer effect this too.
My brother had an ipod but after leaving sticky fingerprints on the screen it started to misbehave.
I cleaned the screen and it was ok again.
Try cleaning the digitizer or getting someone to possibly reseat it for you.
Unless under warranty in which case go back to the store you got it from and show them the fault.
Use Google play. Sometimes jar has unsupported apps that can give you a virus.
Something must have happened during the last update. Either it lost connection or crashed before the process was complete. This unfortunately is called 'a brick' or 'bricked'. You will have to find a way to restore the OS to the tablet. It may need a complete wipe and reinstallation. My suggestion would be to find a local PC tech in the area that services tablets. Or you may have to contact the manufacturer and create a service ticket.
