I have a faby 3 and have just had the part the solenoids go on to replaced, now my right bowl freezes fine, the middle over freezes and the left freezes until the middle over freezes then stops freezing, any ideas?

Assuming the mix is mixed correctly and the auger is turning, make sure the micro switch to the right of the motor in the back is in place correctly and works ok. That switch tells the freezing to stop.

How do i know if thermostat is bad

depends on the slush machine. if it's a cab or ugolini, it won't go into defrost or it'll just go warm instead of refrigerated. easy way to test on a cab faby- put the timer on defrost when the product is not frozen, turn the right auger on then off. if the compressor did not go on and off, the thermostat is bad. same for a ugolini, but it'll work with both sides, so turn one off. if you have a bunn ultra 2, the display will let you know there is a thermostat issue. if you have a bunn cds 2, it works the same as a ugolini.

Why is slush machine only freezing on one side

if it's a cab faby and it's the right side not freezing but getting cold, you have low refrigerant. if it's warm, you have a stuck solenoid, blocked capillary tube, or a bad torque micro switch. if it's a bunn ultra 2, you have a bad solenoid or the freezing button is not on freeze.

My faby slush machine is freezing up

mix too lean. add a bit more base. also check the torque switch next to the stir motor. if it's stuck open, it won't stop freezing

Cab Faby Not Freezing

could be any number of things: mixture being too rich (add more water), timer is off (reset defrost timer on side), 4-minute timer is not turning on compressor (inside right front panel. unplug thin blue wire harness, turn middle screw until compressor turns on), the refrigeration solenoids (is there a click from the back when you turn the switches on), does the compressor turn on, does the fan turn on (if there is no air flow, the overpressure sensor will turn the compressor off), or maybe there is a leak. if it is the last case, you will need a professional to take a look at it.
