SOURCE: GE cafe convection microwave 9CEB1590SS only heats up with convection heating element.

Can be part of the power supply or the controller board. Best to take the unit in for service. You would need the spare parts to try, the service manual, and the proper voltever to make the necessary verifications.

Replace keypad microwave pvm1870

You could probably replace the keypad yourself, as it most likely plugs in. Get the exact part number and have a search for it.

Microwave turns on but no heat and turntable doesn't turn

It is one of two things, a defective door switch, "most likely" or the keypad control board is faulty.

It has power but is not heating anything

In order for a microwave oven to cook foods, its "engine" - the magnetron - must also be functioning. If the keypads, turntable, lights and all other functions are working but the food is not cooking, the magnetron has failed. Some local repair shops can provide a reasonable cost to replace, and it comes down to how old the oven is and is it worth repair or replacment.

Have GE JVM2050 over the range microwave, which stopped heating food and water since this morning. All other functions including light, key pad, clock, turntable work normal. The magnetron sound also

if everything works except the heating, it is most likely the mag tube is on its way out.........that is the most common reason for it not too cook.......since the microwave is a GE and it is 3.5 years old, i would say you are better off buying a new microwave, the mag tube starts at around $70.00 and up + the labor it costs too have a service person put it in........around another $60.00

No turntable, no heat. Light, vent fan and keypad all work...

That would be a problem with your primary interlock switch or its mount.

NOTE: There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting.

If you or someone you know decide to look into it, we have critical safety information, info on door switch diagnosis and replacement, and disassembly information at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk

The interlocks are highlighted in the diagram below.

Turntable does not work

Need to check if you have power to the turntable motor. Either is has a bad motor or a bad relay on the control board.
