This could be an issue with the defrost cycle. if ice build up accumulates the on the inside coil (evaporator), it restricts the air flow and you get alarms for being out of temp. usual signs are ice build up around the coil area. look for that first. be sure the door closes and seals too.

My frostfree Kenmore upright freezer has been beeping alarm since the power was off for three hours this morning and showing -3 as temperature. What do I do to reset?

On some models the beeping will not stop until it gets to normal temp. The -3 is more than likely the set temperature of the unit. you can try to change that with the control. The best thing to do is get a thermometer to check what the actual temperature is.

Why haier freezer is beeping

Either way if you had the doors opened a lot, it should like you probably have frost build up preventing proper air flow. You'd need to pull everything out of the freezer and remove the lower back panel inside the freezer. If there is frost build up, you'll need to use a hair dryer to thaw all the frost out. The unit will continue to beep until the set temperature (0 and 38) are reached so that could take a while even after thawing out all the frost build up.

If removing panels sounds like more than you can handle, you can always unplug the unit for 24 hours and leave the doors open to allow the unit to defrost on it's own.

My chest frigidaire freezer starts beeping about an hour after I plug it in and I can't get it to stop what do I do

Does the freezer get cold? To what temperature? Is the lid closed tight? What do you have the temperature set at? Is it set to zero or below? Is it an automatic defrost freezer? If so, have you set the auto defrost to off? If you turn thee temperature all the way to the lowest setting, does the beeping stop after awhile? Usually beeping means a lid/door ajar or a temperature problem.

Frigidaire Freezer keeps making 3 beeping sounds then displays a 1

Hello Melinda, when the refrigerator is beeping or buzzing, it may be a warning sign of a possible malfunction or an unsafe, interior temperature. To silence the buzzer, you can depress the ALARM OFF button. However, if you have already done this, try unplugging the unit or flipping the household circuit breaker for about ten minutes.

If the alarm continues, it could possibly be experiencing a communication problem with the temperature control/board, wiring failure or faulty compressor since error code 1 typically indicates an issue with the compressor. I would recommend connecting with a professional appliance tech for a clear-cut diagnosis.
I hope this information helps to some degree.

My deep freezer wont freeze..it keeps beeping..what do i look for to find out how to fix it??

Hi monilvsjay - Typically when the freezer is beeping it indicates a warning of a possible malfunction or an unsafe temperature inside. The silence the buzzer, press the ALARM OFF button, however if you have already done so try unplugging the unit or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and if it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. The freezer could possibly be experiencing a communication problem with the temperature control/board or wiring failure.

Beeping on Frigidare Freezer FFU1l4FC3AW0

You may need to reset the unit at the household circuit breaker for a few minutes to create a hard reset within the unit. Then retry. If it proves to be ineffective, the unit may possibly be experiencing a communication problem with the temperature control/board or wiring failure. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.

Freezer compressor gets hot

Check behind and underneath for dust buildup, sounds like your compressor needs cleaned on the outside, the dust is causing it to overheat and retain condensation, hence the ice buildup. Easy thing to check, good luck.

Unit beeps twice all the time

Two beeps indicate the unit exceeded its harvest time two or three times in a row and has locked out. You need a service tech because the problem is going to be a DIY nightmare. Could be a water solenoid leaking by, low charge problem, bad float switch, or bad headmaster valve on a remote system with a cold ambient/outdoor temperature. Troubleshooting these beasts is something for a qualified tech in person. To reset the beeping you actually have to reach in to the control box while the unit has power and is turned on and press a reset button on the board that is not marked. I do it all of the time and hate it every time so I would not recommend it to someone with no experience.

WHIRLPOOL UNDER WORKTOP FREEZER APPROX 11 YEARS OLD BEEPING

the temperature control is bad. when you push the fast freeze it bypasses the thermostat for 12-24 hours depending on which model you have. I am not able to find any parts information with the model number provided but you should be able to find a temperature control at any local appliance parts house or online thru any reputable supplier.
