How can i solve lens error

Sir/Ma'am Lens error is because of several reasons and there are several solutions to fix up the Lens ErrorYou have tried One of the most common solution which Fix up the lens error like lens error is solved by removing the batteries and replacing it with a new set of fully charge ones, or Lens error may also solved by compressed air canister to blow around the lens area. This will result in the sand or dust particles to be blown out of the area between the lens and the barrel. Or Lens error also mostly solves by Insert the cameras Audio/Video (AV) cable, and turn the camera on.

You have tried all these but but problem is still there so problem is quite complicated, well i am suggesting you some more solution which may fix up the Lens Error:-

First of all if your camera allows you to work for minute then try finding and selecting the "factory reset" option to set your camera back to its original factory condition. On some Canon cameras, this requires holding the menu button down with the camera powered on for up to 10 seconds. However note that a lens error might sometimes override the reset option, and thus the option might not appear. So if you find the option then by resetting your camera to Factory Setting may fix the problem


If problem is still there then Remove the memory card and keep it removed, then install the new batteries. When you turn the camera on with the card removed it may come back to life, as this triggers a reset in some cameras. Error E30 (for older Canon's) means that you don't have a memory card installed, so turn it off, slip in the SD card and turn it on one last time, This may also solve the problem
Mostly Lens Error is also happens when Lens Barrel is out of position so Place the camera flat on its back on a table, pointed at the ceiling. Press and hold the shutter button down, and at the same time press the power-on button. The idea is that the camera will try to autofocus while the lens is extending, hopefully seating the lens barrel guide pins back into their slots and it may fix the problem

If problem is still there then there are some other solution too which remove the lens error but all of then are technical and if you try to follow them you enter into the realm of potentially damaging your camera. There is definitely some risk in them, So i recommend that if your camera is still under warranty, before trying any of these, please please first contact your camera's maker or service provider. It will solve your problem quite easily.

Error 99 means "other error", so there are may possible causes. However, in most cases it refers to a communication problem between camera body and lens.

Try the following:

• Remove the lens.
  
• Check the contacts at the lens mount and contact pads at the lens for damage and dirt. If necessary, carefully clean them.
• Power on the camera, without a lens attached. Does the error recur?
• If the error did not occur without a lens, re-attach the lens and try again.
• If this did not solve the problem, try a different lens

Firmware doesn't solve lens errors. that can only be solved by sending into repairs. Give them a call at 800-706-2534 and then keep choosing option 1.
