If you use a Homedics BPA-110 automatic blood pressure monitor:
1 - Press the User-Select button to select User 1 or User 2.
2 - Press and hold the Date/Time Set buttons at the same time while in memory recall mode. The data for the selected user will be erased automatically.

Also, if you need a user manual, use this link to http://personalcare.manualsonline.com/ for personal care manuals.

For all other manuals, use the home page link http://www.manualsonline.com/.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: blood pressure monitor problem

The two numbers that measure your blood pressure are written like a fraction: one number on top and one on the bottom. The top number in a blood pressure reading refers to the systolic pressure. It measures the pressure inside your blood vessels at the moment your heart beats. The bottom number represents your diastolic pressure. It measures the pressure in your blood vessels when your heart is resting between heartbeats. A good blood pressure for most people will be under 120/80, as most people with blood pressure problems have high blood pressure. However, extreme low blood pressure can also be a serious health concern.

SOURCE: blood pressure measurements support

There are two positions for taking your blood pressure measurements: Sitting down - Place your elbow on a table. Using a flat object as support, position your wrist at heart level. Your blood pressure measurement will be too low if you hold your hand too high, or too high if you hold your hand too low. Lying down - Lie on your back. Rest your wrist on a support or cushion with the palm side facing up, position your wrist at heart level. On both of the positions you need to open and relax your hand with the palm facing up (closing your hand will cause inaccurate readings). Do not bend your wrist inward, as bending your wrist will cause inaccurate readings. If possible, empty your bladder before measuring your blood pressure, for a more accurate reading.

SOURCE: We don't the manual for our model #BPA-440WGN and

We're having consistently high readings with ours, too. We've compared it with as many as two other units at various test sessions.

    From the manual:
    ------------------------
All digital blood pressure monitors require recalibration in order to ensure continued accuracy.

This monitor does not require recalibration for 2 years under normal usage conditions (approx 3x/day), at which time your monitor will display "CA." The unit should also be recalibrated if the monitor sustains damage due to blunt force (such as dropping) or exposure to fluids or extreme hot or cold temperature changes.

To send monitor for recalibration, please ship to the address below with check or money order in the amount of $10 payable to HoMedics, Inc., for recalibration service, shipping and handling:

    HoMedics Recalibration Service Center
    Post Office Box 7050
    Walled Lake, MI 48390

Allow up to 3 weeks for return of product. For additional information, contact HoMedics Consumer Relations at 1-800-466-3342.
    ---------------
So, do we spend $10 plus postage and wait 3 weeks or more...or do we use the $10 toward a new one immediately at a Walgreen's a half-mile away? It's a nice unit and works well otherwise, so it's a quandry. I hate to toss it. Good luck.

We have WGNBPW-510 Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor Wrist and can't find the instructions. We need to erase the values that are on them and start fresh. How do I erase the monitor values?

To delete the history first, press the User-Select Button. Then press and hold what looks like a tiny button clock and the + button to the right of it at the same time, while in memory recall mode and the data for that selected user will automatically be erased.

    Hope this helps you.

How to erase info stored on the monitor and how to change date and store new info again it is a used monitor can i go on line to print guide on how to use it.

I also do not have a manual, but probed around on my unit until I found something that worked. I'm not sure it is the best solution because you need to erase the stored readings one at a time. That means it will take a few minutes, but it does work and it's very simple: Push the Bank button to get the bank you want, M1 or M2. When a stored reading appears, hold down the Memory button for about five seconds and the reading will start to flash. Keep holding the Memory button and a series of dashes will appear on the screen. Release the memory button and press Start. The old reading will be erased and the next reading will appear. Keep doing this until you have erased as many readings as you want. Hope this helps. JD

    Pressure measurements question

Try to take your blood pressure measurements at the same time and under the same conditions every day. The ideal time to measure your blood pressure is in the morning just after waking up—before breakfast, any major activity or exercise. This will give you a base blood pressure measurement. It is best to take readings closely together if you want to check whether one reading is accurate. Rest for 30 seconds then take another reading. Blood pressure can vary even over a few minutes.
