Hi Kenneth:
If you've got the right replacement belt, you should be able to install it using this technique.................
- The LAST pulley to fit will be the SPRING LOADED TENSIONER
- The grooved side of the belt is the INSIDE and it will go on the Outside of all grooved pulleys.
- The smooth side of the velt is the OUTSIDE and will go on the Inside of all smooth Pulleys.
- Just a bit of patient fun...... Thread the needle..... In/Out?In?Out
Last one... The tensioner...Use the flex bar... fit in the square hole... Pull..... slide belt over..... release tensioner. Ta Da!

if you haven`t started the job and the belts are still on then all you have to do is draw how each belt is routed on the pullies then replace them.if the belts are not on then you can see if the parts supplier or the dealer can show you a diagram.there is a sticker on the upper rad support that shows how the belts are routed but at the age of this car it is probably missing.you can also go to the library and look at the books they have it should show how the belts are routed.

there should be a diagram that show's the routing on the timing belt cover ....this diagram is for the dynasty with a/c..which is most common...clockwise rotation.

Should be a tag on the core support somewhere that shows a diagram how to install your belt,usually its right on top where the radiator bolts to core support,open hood look down on top of support or its on the inside of hood open hood and look up see if theres a tag with a diagram of belt installation
