I would imagine it to be similar to this. this is standard wiring for your situation. although you may not have these exact pick-ups. the wiring remains the same. Good luck

SOURCE: Shadow Kill Pot Wiring Diagram with 2 active

Are you using the original solderless wiring? Are you starting from scratch? Are just wanting to install the Shadow pot into an already working guitar? If you are working on an already working guitar Please give the model number, if EMG equipped, So I know where and what we have to work with. But this should be a straight up fairly easy setup. The Shadow pot just replaces the normal volume pot. Off to work, but will be back with you.

SOURCE: Will volume and tone knobs

Yes, Some gibson electric's have long shaft pot's, they will still fit but you will need to use another nut to adjust the pot's so they do not stick through the body to far. Knobs should fit unless the old gibson's are solid shaft. Then you will need new knobs. Many guitar parts places on net to order standard pots and even wiring kits. I have picked up a washburn lyon series electric guitar s/n 5062530 stamped on the neck plate what year is it and where is it made

It's probably 1995 Washburn Lyon WE3, the pickup configuration is two single coil pickups. It would be easier to tell if there was a photo available.

How to add a tone control to a Rare Earth humbucking acoustic pickup?

here is a diagram on how to add a tone control to humbuckers.

http://sthac.free.fr/pictures/sthac-HSH-wiring.jpg

for your set up, all u have to do is to do is wire the positive parallel form the pick-up or volume knob into the middle lead of the pot, wire the negative parallel to the casing of the pot, and put a .022- .033 ohm capacitor from the casing to the pot lead on the right, when viewed from the bottom. wiring parallel means "tapping into" the circuit, not rerouuting the circuit.

Lyon by Washburn guitar has severe feedback until we short it out buy running a wire from the plug in port to the chrome bracket that the strings sit on, I believe that there is a ground wire off as there...

It sounds like the grounding/earth wire is off the output socket as you already seem to believe yourself. Depending on the model either take off the back control cover panel or the scratchplate/pickguard and look for a loose wire running from the back of one of the pot cases and connect this back onto the screen connection of the jack socket.

Peavey signiture EX wiring

if the signature ex has any special plugs then the actuall diagram for that guitar is needed. but if it uses the standard two or three potential meter ( volume knobs and tone knobs or (pots) ) with a pick up selector and an input. then you can use any guitar wiring diagram and i think you can find that on web. wiring the pick up should be shown in the diagram with the pick up selector.
