Good Day;
1. Check for an open AC fuse F9D00, if open check for a short on the 340v line to the lamp ballast between pin 1 an 5 at connector PL on the Power PCB, if shorted replace PWB-POWER LAMP (Ballast) part # 939P978010 and F9D00 part # 283D131040 2. Check for open AC fuse F9D00 part # 283D131040, if open check for proper seating of connector K1 on the Power PCB

SOURCE: blinking timer light
The blinking timer light is usually caused by bad capacitors on the DM board. The V26 DM repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com should repair that issue. The kit contains the parts and the Cd with instructions.

i
have been a tech for 26 yrs now i have seen so many postings on here
about bulging caps and so on but there is only 1 thing to do our
workshop has 18000 dollars in test equipment alone there is a great
reason for this the amount of vereables that can go wrong with nano
electronics there is no easy fix to this problem it needs to be seen by a
certified electronics tech this is your best chance of having this tv
fixed correctly im not putting down other techs on this site but some
things we can fix by computer network some we cant imagine even if this
tv was in my workshop right now it would take us over an hour just to
find and fix the cause
i hope this helps you sir/mam

A common issue and it may be your problem is dust and dirt inside the unit---the set intakes air from the front and exhausts it out the rear==I have seen several of these sets where removing rear cover and taking stthe set outside and blowing it with a air compressor clears the issue.
Fans and other critical items that get clogged or coated with a moderate amount of dust will cause this issue.
