Check to make sure that your buttonhole lever is all the way up. Pull it all the way down, then gently "smack" it up into position.

Next, check to make sure your bobbin winder is no engaged. Push it all the way to the right, then all the way to the left.

SOURCE: why does my ce-200 beep every few stitches?

I was having this problem for two days so I just called Singer and got a solution!  I'm posting it for you because I was on here looking for a solution to the problem and nobody had posted one.
Take the top thread out of the machine - cut it back by the spool and pull it out through the machine the way the thread goes when you are sewing - you don't want to be pulling the thread back through the machine because dusty bits are getting stuck up in that part of the machine with the frosted plastic where you have to make sure the thread is pulled into when threading.  You might not think there is dust in there - I didn't because I had taken that part off and brushed it out but that didn't work.  What you need to do is floss that part of your machine.  Get some dmc floss or some UNWAXED dental floss and pull it into that part of your machine - under the pieces that are under that frosted plastic part on the top of your machine - now floss it back and forth for a good 30 - 45 seconds.  When you are done that pull it out to the left - the way the thread goes when the machine is sewing - remember pulling the thread back the other way will get fuzzies stuck in there.  I rethreaded the machine carefully and made sure that the thread got pulled into that top part properly - the lady on the phone said it may feel differently now that its been cleaned out.  Then it worked again!
I hope this works for you!

My singer futura 400 sews a few stitches, beeps and after a few seconds repeats

On some machines, it means the machine is not set up to begin stitching, ie the presser foot is up, the bobbin winder is activated, etc. You might check the troubleshooting section at the back of your owner's manual.

I get an E2 error on my Brother CP7500 and the button lever is all the way up

A stitch other than the buttonhole or bar tack stitch was selected and the foot controller was pressed (or the start/stop button was pressed if the foot controller is not connected) while the buttonhole lever is lowered.

Raise the buttonhole lever before continuing the operation.
Each time a key pressed or an incorrect operation is performed, a beep is sounded.
  • For a correct operation
    One beep is sounded.
  • If an incorrect operation is performed
Two or four beeps are sounded.
  • If the machine locks up, for example, because the thread is tangled
The sewing machine continues to beep for four seconds.
    The machine automatically stops.
Be sure to check for the cause of the error, and correct it before continuing to sew.

Singer confience stylist beeps four time and won't let me sew

The beeps usually indicates that your machine is not ready to sew which probably means a function has been left in the activated mode, ie bobbin winder, buttonhole function, etc. . Here are some ideas:
