I've tested my 30-pin dock and believe there is a problem and it needs to be replaced. Where can I have this work done by someone that knows what they are doing?

Though I'm not sure, I think what you are asking is how to use an iPhone 5s on an older iPhone docking station. If so, my recommendation is to buy and a 30 pin to 8 pin adapter. Here is an example:

It all depends on the form factor of your dock and whether the added size of the adapter will still allow your phone to sit on the dock. There may be some smaller, slimmer ones. If the phone doesn't fit on the dock with the adapter in place, you could also buy a iPhone 5s extension cable and just cable your phone to the dock and adapter.
Probably your new docking station is equipped with the new Lightning connector used by iPhones and iPads instead of the 30-pin connector used by old and newer iPods. Search on Internet to see if you can find a Lightning-to-30-pin adapter. Do not get a 30-pin-to-Lightning adapter; you will waste your money. The latter adapter is more readily available, but is used to connect an iPhone or iPad to and OLDER docking station equipped with a 30-pin connector.
It may be expensive to have someone replace the connector. One option is to squirt some silicone around the base, being careful to still allow contact to be made to the iPod dock connector. You could get a dock extension cable (see link below). It may fit better and will reduce the strain on the Bose connector. If it's still loose, you could glue the extender cable in.
Alternatively, you could use a 3.5 mm audio cable to connect the iPod headphone jack to the Aux-in jack on the back of the Bose. Just living with it may be prudent.
Check
the USB cable for damage and dirt, especially at the ends. Then try
using the wall charger, as this will provide greater power input than
the computer/USB.
Broken charger or USB cord
Try using different chargers to see if you may have a problem with your charger or cord.
Obstructed/bad dock connector
Inspect
the 30-pin dock connector at the bottom of the iPhone for dirt, lint,
and damaged pins. Clean out the dock connector very carefully with a
tooth pick or soft toothbrush. If the dock connector is broken, you will
have to replace it.
As far as i know & from experiance of using Apple Product since many years, some times some accessories does not supports & works very well with iPhone. If your iPhone is working fine with other accessories that mean original accessories came from Apple then there is nothing wrong with iPhone, so please try it with another system or try with another 30 pin Apple original dock adapter & i hope it will work like charm.

It is normal to get incompatible devie message when you attach your iphone to dock because you don't use apple dock. I have 5 different brand portable speakers, charging docks. And all of them give same message when i attach my iphone 4 to dock. When you press "ok" on your iphone screen, it should start to play your songs. You don't need to use your iphone at airplane mode.
You may have problem with your iphone dock conncector cable pins. If audio related pins are damaged, you can not use any external iphone speakers with your iphone4. In order to test your sonic integrity tube pod; try another ipod or iphone on its dock. If it gives same result, you may need to change dock connector unit on sonic integrity tube pod due to damaged pins. If it works; iphone 4 dock connetor cable of your iphone 4 needs to be replaced.
It is most likely the 30 pin connector on the Logitech that is the problem. They can break if the incorrect iPod inserts have been used.
Try playing someone else's iPod on it, if no go it's busted. Repairs are difficult if not impossible. Sorry
Try replaceing the tempuratiure switch. The relays can be tested by putting power to pin 85 and ground to pin 86 and then check to see if there is good continuity between pin 30 and pin 87,you need an ohm meter for this.
