Not enough water (Sani`s don`t suck it in)
Recycled dense paper
Old Sani needs a service

One or all of the above should cure it.

SOURCE: NOISY SANIFLO

Always an issue, guessing it is on a tiled floor? or up against a tiled wall?

I put some thin foam / Bubble wrap underneath and behind mine to dampen the vibrations. It also helps if you box the unit in and use foam to quieten the noise (on top and around the unit). Depending upon how long you have had it, it may also need a clean out or possibly even the motor bearings are getting a bit worn, creating some noise with the excess movement.

Good Luck

Saniflo toilet needs more than one flush to clear the bowl from toilet paper etc.

If it is going out slowly, get large containers of hot water and flush until it goes out faster. It may take several containers but hot water works wonders and doesn't cost much.

may need a backflow preventer in the waste line under the sink..it is basically a ball on a spring..designed to make the water go only one way..I am guessing the wasteline was opened up with a plumbing snake..that pump may have too much backpressure from the head line..

Any brand approved for septic should work well in the saniflow system, but the key is to use as little as reasonably possible and flush as you go. Big wads of any type will compromise the system.

My saniflo has started to go slow- it now does small pumps - one every 30 seconds so takes 5 minutes to drain the bowl. I'm pretty sure no foreign objects have gone into it as it's only me and my wife...

Typically when solids don't leave the toilet after one flush or if it short cycles like is doing, then is definitely a pressure problem. Is the unit vented via an 1 1/2" vent pipe to the open air? Please disconnect the vent pipe and leave the vent connection open to the room, flush the toilet and check if it makes a difference. Air must flow in and out of the vent pipe at all times so it can work properly. An obstruction on the vent pipe can cause this issue. Also could be calcium build up inside the rim of the bowl. Pour a few cups of vinegar on the toilet tank and then flush the toilet, it should get rid of calcium right away.

I fitted a saniflo plus about 3 months ago engineer been out 5 times even changed unit last engineer said it was toilet paper stuck in tiny hole at bottom of motor he said it was due to not flushing...

This could be a problem with the capacitor which drives the blade and impeller. If it goes bad it will pump water only but when solids are flushed, it will jam the blade and cause it not to spin. You may have to replace the capacitor/condenser.
