This could be a few things. 1. get the batteries checked, they may say you have a full charge, but when under load, they may drop down to far and fault the controller with a low voltage fault. You could have a bad brake, this can be checked by a tech by plugging in a programmer and checking the fault code. 3. you may have a loose connection and the slightest bump may give you an intermittent power off and fault the chair. Have a Tech look at the chair and see what may be the problem.

hi,

Battery condition meter codes are as follows: Left Red LED Flashing Slowly or Steady: Battery charge is low. Charge the batteries as soon as possible. Step up of LEDs: The controller is in programming, inhibit, or charging mode. All LEDs Blinking Once Every 2.5 Seconds: The controller is in sleep mode. Power the controller off and then on again to restart. Lights Ripple Side to Side: The joystick was not in the center position when the power was switched on. Power the controller off and allow the joystick to return to the neutral position, and then power the controller back on to restart. If the lights are still rippling side to side, contact your authorized Pride/ Quantum Rehab Provider.

Why does my chair show a full charge yet after only a half a block it will show only red flashing lite indicating needing charge.

Your batteries are nearing replacement time. They are becoming incapable of holding a full charge.

Pride jazzy 1113, controller light scroll back and forth, wont move, i bought one new battery, it has full charge other battery is a little over 10 volts. is there way to test charger with volt meter?

The voltmeter should read 29 volts when on. You should never replace one battery and leave an old battery in the chair. Replace them both at the same time.

Do not know if chair is taking a charge lights just keep moving across armrest .how do u tell when fully charged?

hi let me see if i can help ,

When the lights go back and forth on your joystick that means the chair knows its pluged in .Now the chair itself has a built in charger that is mounted on the back of your chair .The back of the chair ,there is a opening a cutout in the frame .when you plug in your chair there will be a red light and a yellow ,yellow means the chair is charging, wait till it turns green, this means fully charged. When you plug in the chair youll see the lights through that hole.Look for the lights.

I recommend my customers to leave there chair charging over night look at the light it will be green when you turn the chair on the joystick should show fully charge.

Good luck hope i was of some help.

You can visit this website to find answers on what the flashing trouble indicator lights mean: http://www.pgdt.com/scenter/diagnostics/diagvsi.html
Locate the page that has the controller used on your power chair/scooter and count how many lights are flashing to diagnose the trouble. If your insurance purchased the power chair for you, they may also cover the repairs; contact them for information.
Good luck!

My suns Quickie P320 (dual battery) requires very

Rapid discharge usually is a sign of weak batteries, and they should be replaced if the charge indicates that they are full after charging for several hours, and then dissipate rapidly.

If your not getting a full charge indication after several hours, then you need to check the charger to make sure it is putting out about 28 Volts DC. If it is, then it is for sure the batt's.

The sweeping lights should not occur when the chair is off the charger. They sweep while on charge to tell you that it is charging and you can't move the chair. If they sweep while off the charger, turn off and restart and it should go. If not, call a tech. rep. for Quickie.
