It may be that the card is not formatted to a file system that is read by both your camera & pc, find a format that works for both, there is Fat16 Fat32, ExFat, & NTFS the last 2 can hold larger files, but a pc should read them all, if your camera has a unique file system then it will never work on your pc.

I have videoed my holiday on my Go Pro 3 hero black, I can view the video on the Go Pro rear screen but when I connect the camera to my Laptop it shows the individual videos only as sound .. no visual

thats a weird one, here is my best guess. The formatting of the card is not comparable with your computer. so if your men card is fat32 and you try to read on a mac computer for example. can you try it with another computer. Do you know if your card is ntsf formmat

How do I delete all the video from my SG card in my GoPro Hero3 camera?

Hello there,
As the manual says.

Presuming you connected PC to camera with USB cable.

All the content on the camera is seen as a disk drive by the Computer.
When you downloaded the photos, From the Computer you must have clicked on them. All you do is right click and delete on the ones you want to erase just like you would with any other file.

The SD card is just another STORAGE device and can be written to or read by both computer and camera. Nothing clever.

hi,
is your computer strong enought to play full hd ?
is your sd card hdxc minimum ?
looks like you have problem of flow, so, sd hdxc minimum to be sure not to loose frames, and a core 2 duo 2.4ghz minimum with a good grafic card to be able to read fluid videos in full hd

Trying to view video fromm gopro hero 2 on my sony vaio

remove the SD card insert into the SD slot in the computer Card Reader. Depends on the file format. What have you tried to view the video on? Take a look at page 53 of the user manual: https://gopro.zendesk.com/home IF you need a freeware Media Player I suggest VLC, it plays most formats and easy to use, at : http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc_32/

My gopro surf hero won't record.it turns on,everything works except it does not record nor takes photos

Be sure to have fully charged batteries and format your SD card using the FAT format. Start by taking the batteries and SD card out, then reinserting after at least 30 second. Here's an unofficial GoPro user guide and tip sheet that I hope helps. Please only apply the GoPro firmware update to GoPro Hero Wide cameras - not the Hero 3 or standard lens models. If we can answer any questions about GoPro products our contact information is at IcePlanter.com
