WASHER WILL NOT START:

Overheating If you've run several loads, one after another, without any problem but suddenly find your washing machine refuses to start, overheating could be the cause. The simple way to discover whether this is the problem is to give the machine ample time to cool down, say for a couple of hours, and then try it again. If it works fine, overheating has been the problem and you may have a motor with bad windings.

The error code is displayed when its beeping.
I don't know the error code, so It can only be three things,
Out of balance switch,Lid magnetic reed switch,Or Rotor position sensor,Your error code would help me work out witch one of these are faulty. to work out your error code look at picture below.
Add up the lights that are on.

this is usually electrical problem. le means lock rotor error. my experience with this is sensor problem. it could be switch to the door lid of the machine, normally open or close water level switch problem or anything causing motor not to get any electricity. open up the compartment where the power and electricity enters the machine. check the continuity of the cable there. if you can spot a contact switch, take out the switch. try to check continuity using a multimeter at all positions of the contact switch. If both positions give you same reading, the switch is not working. get a replacement switch or if you cannot get exactly the same one, you can buy one that is close to the original and modify it. i have replaced my korean switch with an omron one but the amps rating is downsized from 16amps to 15amps. still the machine is working fine now. cheers.

Finally i found that the reed switch sensor has blown and not working in order. and i replaced with a new one. now its working fine.

Your problem is with the pause/resume button. This button allows you to add/remove items before the cycle is complete. If you press this button and there is water in the machine it will beep for a period of time (3 mins) and then empty the machine automatically so you can open the door. After opening the door the cycle can be restarted again by pressing the pause/resume button again.

the beeping usually is there to tell you something.
It is possible there is not hot water being supplied when you have hot or warm selected
Maybe the water is filling to slow
maybe the filter i clogged
maybe the barrel is out of alignment ( cased but imbalance from previous wash )
is it a top or front loader.
what lights flash when the beeping occurs?

Out of balance switch could be faulty/ coroded.
have a gw 709 and it had the same problem, out of balance switch had jammed on

No power? Let's see if we can solve this problem.

1. Unplug then plug back again.
2. Start the program.

• If beeping send for repair/replacement.
• If not beeping be happy to continue using your washing machine.
