The most likely cause is a bad magnetron, "heats food" the other two possibilities are the high voltage capacitor and diode. The cost to repair will a approach a new microwave oven.

Microwave Electronics or magnetron failed, you will need to have it looked at professionally. Sorry.There may be a fuse inside but it will be a thermal fuse which requires professional replacement.

Therer could be many causes for this and will need to be looked at by a qualified repair tecnician, I would suggest that you ask for a quote first as the repair could be simple of very expensive.

pull your magnetron connector out and clean the both pins with alcohols or a metal cleaner and then fix it again and use. magnetron will work surely.

Hi!if your microwave does not heat, it only means that the magnetron is not working, try to look for busted fuse. or check the capacitor for leak, the hi voltage diode sometimes malfunction, and if all of the above mentioned are all ok maybe your magnetron is defective.

On most Sharp Carousel Microwaves, the display stops working after time. As for the not getting any heat, the magnetron or the high voltage transformer may not be working.
