You have a small leak inside your dishwasher and the anti flood switch is making, this is what keeps your pump running constantly. try removing the bottom plate and drying it out also check the switch is not permenantly made

Maytag dishwasher wont fill with water

Hi Mingsten 1) check the water valve under the sink make sure it is open. 2) check if the water line is pinched or twisted 3) if you have a meter you can check if you get power to the dishwashers water valve ( it is under the dishwasher. behind the kick plate.) you will have to remove 2 or 4 screws to get to it. hook up your meter and close the door. wait for the pump out and check for 110-120 volts when the dishwasher should fill.. 3) if you have power at this time you will need a need dishwaher water valve.. 4) if you get no power then you may have other problems ( let me know and we can go deeper) I hope this helps let me know...

Dishwasher wont fill up with water

When you start the dishwasher you have probably noticed that it first drains water and is very important to hear that drain pump running all the time or stops after a while? Why?
If the drain pump runs constantly then the fault is in the phase of "drain water" or is activated anti-flood system. Reset point of pressostat is not reached after max. 120secs. Programme stop and can be continued after error remedy by pressing the programme key.

If the pump is running for a while and then stops, then the fault is in phase "fill up water". Switchpoint of pressostat is not reached
after max. 60 secs.

Usually built-in dishwashers has anti-flood system that responds in the event of water in the bottom of the dishwasher. Such a case, find and repair water leaks.

I have a problem with my Asko D3350 Dishwasher, can you help? On startup the diswasher does its normal cycle and pumps excess water out and then fills the dishwasher with water to the correct level of...

Hi Tony,

I have the same machine (D3350) and almost the same problem.

Mine starts each cycle fine - pumps out - fills - rinses - pumps out tht first load and then does not fill again. If I manually fill with a bottle (about 2 litres) for each subsequent cycle then it washes as well as it ever did.

Seeing it fills once it cannot be the water supply, nor the solenoid that operate the water supply. So, my guess is the control panel.

Like you I would love to simply take advantage of the PC Upgradeable featurewshich seemed so attractive at the time of pruchase.

Dishwasher won't fill with water

Check the power supply to the water pump through a pocket electrical line tester or volt meter.

Poer reaches and the pump mot rotating, check the capacitor associated with the motor.

When i start it it keeps pumping water out

Hi.

If it keeps pumping water out when at the same time is filling, then it is probably a faulty control board.
The drain pump is supposed to come on after filling and cycling.

Before replacing the timer control, ensure that the problem is not a contact in drain pump wiring harness, keeping pump contacts hot even on filling.

Whirpool diswasher DU929PFGG2 wont draw water

The pump may be clogged or the motor start capacitor may be bad or the fill switch may be stuck or the timer may be bad. Fill the dishwasher by hand to just below the door level and close it then see if it will run. If it then runs correctly the problem may be the fill switch. If not, it could be the motor, the cap, or the timer
