I am having the same problem on my LNT4665F, have sound, but no picture, or picture for 10 seconds, then black screen. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. TV is 2 weeks old, have a Samsung warranty tech coming tomorrow to look at it. Just hope he fixes it. I have the same problem, I just bought an LN-T405HA and the picture flashes on for a second every time its turned on, then off, it just turned on into multi-colored bars and then turned all the way on..for now. I will be calling for help from Samsung tommorrow. We have a Samsung flat screen lcd tv that is mounted. The video works intermittently. Audio stays on with no problem. We have taken it to get repaired. They could not find a problem and video never went out for them. It is a mounted tv. We have taken it off the wall and it is working fine now. Same problem. I can still watch my tv but I have to turn it off and back on again. sometimes 2 to 3 times for the screen to stay on. Happens 80% of the time when i turn it on for the first time.

Same thing. Samsung 46" 1080p just out of warranty. Flash of picture for a second then goes to black. Sound works. Sent it to get fixed under credit card extended warranty and waited a week for them to look at it-- but they said it worked fine in the shop. Now a month later it's not working again.

yes after tv is out of warranty no image when you turn it on but after leaving it for 5 minutes it works and then will be periods will be on and off annoying, please help

When the TV is turned on, it take a seconf to power up, then the picture and sound come on. With in a second the picture cuts out while the sound continues. There is no channel display, the screen is powerless, other controls are functioning. Same problem--happens whenever ambient temp drops below 70. Am caught in war between Samsung, repairman, satellite expert, and DTV. It's always the other guy's fault. It sounds like a main board problem. The control voltage that goes to back-light inverter board; from the main board, goes down. Contact any service technician. This is not a user repairable fault. Gopakumar Gopalan Google
