How to turn off silent ode - Uniden DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone ID

The bike carries a lot of weight in batteries. It would be rude to ask what you weight, but it could seriously affect performance especially uphill. The bike has 4 x 12 volt batteries making it run on 48 volts. The standard batteries are rated at 8 amps. To get more pulling power, you can get an uprated 12 amp battery for more power and longer range. The manual states the batteries have a life of about 400-500 charges. I think this is optimistic.

How to turn the ringer on and off U

According to DeviceHelp.optus: "1. Turn silent mode on or off

• To turn on silent mode:
  • Tap the lower part of the Volume key until the silent mode icon is displayed.
• To turn off silent mode:
  • Tap the upper part of the Volume key to select the required ring volume."

You can silence the ringers on the base and handsets at the same time. It doesn't affect the visual ringer on the phone in standby, press and hold Silent on the base. The phone automatically turns on the answering system and shows Do Not Disturb in the display on handset. (The answering system answers any incoming calls without playing anything through the speaker.)To cancel, press Silent again. If you turn the answering system off while Silent Mode is on, the phone turns off Silent Mode.

it may not be compatable or you need to get software installed for the item you are using..

Another is the Ode to Joy.

With the phone in Standby hold the # for about 5 seconds on any handset it should then Display 'Silent Mode off'

Make sure that its not in silent mode.

Silent can be turned ON/OFF by turning the Ring/Silent Switch up/down.
Here's where you'll find the Ring/Silent switch:


Take a look at it and if you see a small red dot, that means you iPhone is in Silent mode. Push the switch upwards to turn the silent mode OFF and to activate your ringer.
