These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Need tv code for Quasar LSSQ0227 its a comcast

had this problem myself and I assure you that a) Comcast is populated by idiots without training, and b) that Quasar hasn't 'deliberately designed' their tvs to not work with Comcast remotes, which is what Comcast will tell you.
Solution: Add a 1 to the code, ie 10250, 10051 etc. Quasar is a 5 digit code, not 4 as Comcast believes.

help.. but if you check around the internet by model number
you will likely be presented with some SERIOUS PART opportunities...

The FASHING LIGHT means you have a hard fault in the power circuits...

The number of flashes is mean to point you to a specific area...

I gave all my big flat screens away in favor of the new
HD stuff... (certainly less reliable than those Sony sers...

Shopjimmy might be a great place to call... but the MODEL NUMBER is a MUST.
