No, there is a different error code if the control board is bad or there is a wire connection issue. The IF error is a comon error and either the fan needs to be replaced or something like ice is blocking the fan from moving. Check to make sure ice or frost isn't blocking the fan, and if it's clear, you need to just replace the fan motor.

by tapping do u mean ticking as if you were listening to an old sowing machine?not to worry very comon with these cars i know i had one do to engine design it is comon for these motors to make noise like that they use differnt kinds of metals in this motor an shaved parts to meet emmisions the noise should get quit after it has warmed up why u might ask because when motor is cold the internals in the engine are one shape as it heats up it either expands or contracts to take up any play internal parts like i said very common and does not effect the performance of this vehicle however if after warm up sound remains or gets louder or makes noise with acceleration could be more severe i fixed one were a lifter collapsed an just needed replacement if you are concerned and have no automotive knowledge have a dealer check it over .but go to more than one garage lots of scam garages out there just remember these motors are aluminum and very sensetive. fyi cam an lifter will only cost from 800-1500 but if motor blows your looking at 5000 easy

It is comon for the washer fluid pump to fail. I would also check the bottle for leaks it is comon for the battery to leak and damage the pump and the bottle.

if it is afixed speed system, the taps on the motor are: black = hi speed
yellow = med hi
blue = med low
red = low
you may not have a yellow
white is always neutral or comon

there is a stainless steel print head block on the lower back portion of the frame that gets contaminated with spill over ink from the catch tray. That causes the print head not to move properly.
The wiper blade may also be tacked to the print head.
That code means the print head is not moving into the print position properly.
That stainless steel block is about 1 inch square.
