On page 15 of the manual it says:

How do I permanently remove pics from my memory ca - 25660600-o4roteedutp0fx2w12xfwqmc-5-0.png

Testimonial: "I don't have a "manual" that says this on page 15. The manual that came with the camera isn't very helpful. I finally figured out how to use the "software" & have been reading & re-reading the info there & am slowly building up my "learning curve". What you have posted taught me another piece of the puzzle. Thanks!"

  • Harrie Apr 25, 2015

Sorry, most of the time I also give the link to the manual, because this is supposed to be online with Kodak. This time I think it was in my own library and I did not look on the net. Be aware Kodak is reducing the online support, so if you still want something, get it whole it still can. In a few days or weeks perhaps it is impossible.

Just a simple search on the net

Format or re-format should do it.

  • sdardis Apr 25, 2015

I needed to know how to find "format". I've been taking the time to play with buttons etc. & finally realized that I needed to use some of the program principles I'm supposed to use elsewhere. It worked!

It says i only have 5 pics, how do i get more?

You need to purchase a SD or SDHC memory card for your camera. They are very inexpensive (see this as an example). With a 4GB card, you can hold more than a thousand photos on your camera.

My M1063 is not transfering all pictures--I checked transfer all and remove from camera, so now I do not have pictures I took. Could it be the memory card? How often do you need new memory card? Thanks

Some cameras have a built in memory bank inside the camera other than the memory card. Your pictures may have been stored in there instead of the card. Check your user manual to verify if it has the built in memory. In order to down load these pictures you will need the USB cable that came with the camera. The memory card can be used several times. I recommend formating the card if you want to reuse it again. The card does not go bad that often.

Trying to download pics from trhe internal memory, it will not allow this action. tried to download program of yours and it would not download. what's up with that

Most cameras will have their removable memory card seen as a Memory Card Reader by your PC (thru USB or FireWire), but your internal camera memory may need either special software (downloaded from the manufacturers website usually), or you may just need to remove your memory card from the camera so your computer defaults to viewing internal camera memory.
The same idea works on most types of cell phone, MP4 players, PDA's and SatNavs too.
Note that some more awkward hardware doesn't really ever expect you to use its internal memory (as it's such a small amount), and so it may have a menu option on the camera itself, that allows you to copy all internal photos over to a memory card instead. Silly I know, you'd expect the manufacturers to have worked out a better way around this kind of thing, but even my brand new SAMSUNG cell phone has this problem, just irritating having to do some copying over first.
I've not actually used a cam the same as yours, but this is just general information in case it helps.

How do I delete pictures from the memory card on my Kodak M1063? Thanks.

The best way to delete all information on your memory card on Kodak M1063 is to format the memory card:

Format your SD card. NOTE this will delete all existing data on your SD card.
Do the following:
  1. Insert the memory card into the camera. Make sure the card is firmly seated (push in the card until it clicks into place).
  2. Turn on the camera.
  3. Press the Menu button, then go to the Setup Menu.
  4. Scroll up or down to the Format option, then press the OK button

Kodak Easyshare M1063. Picture transfer.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to transfer pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa.

Just got new easyshare, cannot review pics and pics will not copy

All cameras need a memory card of some description. A 1GB SD card would be more than big enough from any photographic shop. Make sure that the lock switch on the side of the SD card is not set.

Cannot install driver (code 10 )

don't use the camera to load the pictures. see if your printer or computer have an SD card reader or buy one for $10 plug it into your USB drive and access the pictures that way...

Once you plug in your SD card Via SD card reader go to my computer and open the drive with the SD card on it... Shouldn't be difficult to figure out. Cut or Copy all your pics and paste them into your My Pics folder or any other folder of your choosing. Enjoy your pics...
