SOURCE: how to thread the bobbin on a singer simple sewing machine

Drop-in bobbin: Note: thread must change direction when entering bobbin shuttle notch. Usually bobbin will turn counter-clockwise when threaded properly.

1. hold bobbin so that the tail of thread is facing to left.
2. drop bobbin into bobbin shuttle.
3. pull thread toward you.
4. guide thread into notch and pull to left so that slot engages thread.
5. pull thread diagonally across shuttle toward back of machine.
6. draw bobbin thread up through needle plate with threaded needle.

How do i fix my bobbin thread on my singer machine from balling up on bottom 9030

Nesting of thread on wrong side (bottom) is usually top thread tension too low.

To be sure which thread is nesting try test sew with different color top thread.

If its bobbin thread then theres likely a problem with bobbin thread tension. Check the bobbin thread has not escaped the tension spring.

Machine will not pick up bobbin thread. ... - Your thread could be caught on something between the needle and your spool of thread if so, your thread will be too tight for the needle to pick up the bobbin thread. - Make sure that the upper thread is threaded properly. - Re-thread your machine, if necessary.

How to load bobbin thread on my new singer 4411 machine. i have not used a sewing machine for 10 years and i have forgotten how to get thread on the blank bobbin.

First place the thread spool on the spool holder and secure it with the spool cap. Bring the thread to the left and snap it into the thread guide. Wind the thread clockwise around the bobbin tension discs. (Bring the thread to the right side of the discs and and then around the discs. Bring the thread to the right and then insert the end of the thread into the hole in the bobbin. Make sure that the hole is facing up. Place the bobbin on the bobbin spindle and push the spindle to the right. Hold onto the thread that is above the bobbin and step on the foot pedal to start winding the bobbin. When the bobbin is full enough, stop pressing the foot pedal (or wait for the machine to stop winding the bobbin). Cut the thread and move the spindle to the left. Remove the bobbin from the spindle.

Many Singer sewing machine manuals are available from their support page: https://www.singer.com/support . The current link to the 4411 Heavy Duty sewing machine manual is https://www.singer.com/sites/default/files/product_manual/SINGER%204411%20Heavy%20Duty%20Sewing%20Machine.pdf . The directions and pictures for winding a bobbin are on page 12 (page 19 of the PDF).

I hope this helps.

How to wind bobbin on model 4411

Do you mean the Singer 4411 Heavy Duty sewing machine? If so,
first place the spool on the spool pin with an appropriate sized spool holder, if you are starting the project. Snap the thread into the thread guide to the left of the of the spool pin. Wrap the thread clockwise around the bobbin winder tension discs (slightly to the left and forward of the thread guide). Bring thread towards the bobbin spindle. Thread the bobbin (put the thread through the hole in the bobbin). Place the bobbin on the spindle with the hole up. Move the bobbin spindle to the right. Hold onto the thread above the bobbin and step on the foot control pedal. When the bobbin finishes winding the thread, cut the thread at the top of the bobbin and the incoming thread from the spool. Move the bobbin spindle to the left and remove the bobbin. If you have already threaded the machine for sewing, you will need to remove it from the various guides and tension discs that are used in sewing. Then after winding the bobbin, re-thread the top thread.

The directions to wind the bobbin are in the manual on page 12 (page 19 of the PDF). You can find many Singer manuals at the Singer support page: https://www.singer.com/support . The 4411 support page is https://www.singer.com/search/support?lp=support&title=4411 . The current link to the manual is https://www.singer.com/sites/default/files/product_manual/SINGER%204411%20Heavy%20Duty%20Sewing%20Machine.pdf .

I hope this helps.

How do I remove the bobbin from a Singer 3102? I have the manual and it doesn't tell me. It is not at all obvious from the machine itself. I can't thread the bobbin if I can't remove it.

Ok which is it? A Singer or a Necchi?

If it is a Singer or a machine like the one picture here.... slide the grey metal plate toward you. You'll see the "drop in bobbin" Look for a little lever or button that will lift the bobbin up so you can get it out.

I was given a Necchi 3102 sewing machine

There are a load of threading diagrams HERE, although your model is not listed, one may be similar enough to get you out of trouble.
As to a manual, a google search should give you several options for pdf downloads
