Green light comes on about 4 sec. off about 2 sec. back on about 4 sec. off 2 sec. back on 4 sec. Then nothing. This is with or without remote. Sometimes after about ten attemps it will come on.

unplug, take out battery then hold power button for 30 seconds then plug back in and turn on if the3 laptap gos on without the battery you need a new battery
the green light blinking is normal if set has been unplugged--when set is plugged back it should blink for about 70 seconds and then go out--then you can try to turn it on---it is the DM unit inside the set booting up.
If the light just blinks and never stops you have likely bad caps in the DM unit---there are kits available for that.
The other possible reason is that so called reset switch may be bad--fairly easy way to find that out and it is more common than you would think, let me know if you have questions.

I have 2 of these devices. Try using a cellular phone charger with the same plug at the end and plug it in. I have waited 5-10 minutes after doing this and they have come back to life and turn on. Maybe it will work for you.

ok when the power is plugged in hold down the menu + device buttens for five sec what is the error code there should be two sets of numbers.... like 1 pause 2 let me know and i'll see what i can do!
Read this very carefully. Turn off your ps3 from the back. Then turn it back on wait unit the light is red. Turn on the system through the front keep holding the power on. You will hear a beep one time that just tell you that the ps3 is powering on keep holding the button until you hear the second beep this will rest your video setting. Receiver turns on Green but on pressing button again for red light standby, red light will not come on for this Denon receiver. Recently light came on saying Panel Lock is on. I was not able to get tuner to work.
One thing could be that your A/C adapter has failed resulting in your battery not being charged. This would explain why you're experiencing the same symptoms w/ or w/out the A/C adapter.
