It usually is only 3 or 2 phillips head screws, although you may have to move the air cleaner on some models (pop the cover off). Use the correct replacement bulb for your machine.

Simple !! just obtain a Ryobi fuel system repair kit (any Ryobi dealer ) , this includes a new primer button , unscrew two Phillips screws holding clamp ring down around bubble (save them) remove damaged bubble (all of it, sometimes leaves behind bits of it) install new bubble and verify it's down in groove , reinstall clamp ring and screws , fill fuel tank and prime button (pushing it )

Why my weedeater idle to high and why air bubble in the primer bulb?

Its not un common to have air in the primer bulb, Check for a possible air leak in the system. This will make the saw idle higher than normal if its sucking air from elsewhere.

Primer bubble

The primer bubble just pulls fuel from the carb and dumps it back to the tank, to replace it diss connect the two hoses, there are then two small plastic legs on the back, press them both in and the primer will just pop out.

Hi there,i have a mcculloch tm210 petrol strimmer and the problem is that it will not start,i have noticed that the fuel primer bubble dose not come back out.please can you advise.

clogged fuel line or carberator. my weedeater did this at the first of the season. i took off both lines going to the gas tank and blew on each line separately while holding throttle open on carberator. i felt the clog go thru and put back together, poured a little gas in intake and it started right up and the primer worked right. good luck

Will only run with choke on or barely open doesnt want to rev up have done carb kit fuel lines comp. check fresh gas, primer bowl wont stay full and gas in tank bubbles around a lot

Check the exhaust muffler, it might be blocked with carbon. Remove the muffler and start the engine, see if it runs. Soak the muffler in petrol overnight. Stephen.

Gas primer bubble cracked. How to find replacement

The part your looking for is called a "primer bulb" and is relatively inexpensive (under $3).

The exact bulb you need depends on the model chainsaw you have. Lacking a model number, I've provided a link to a site where you can verify which model McCulloch chainsaw you have and thus, which primer bulb you need to replace your cracked on with.

http://www.mymowerparts.com/partdetail/1125/15474.php

Once on the page, you can enter "primer bulb" in the quick search box and it will show all bulbs for all the chainsaw models available. About the 3rd section down will have the McCulloch bulbs listed.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!
