My tablet's screen cracked and I still used it for a while, and the screen was slowly, slowly starting to respond less in more areas and the entire screen won't respond. Pleas help.

You may have only cracked the top corner , but if the lower part of the screen is not responding then you have also damaged your digitizer. A replacement of the screen and the digitizer may be necessary.

Replace the screen!

(1) Is the battery charged? I'd connect the charger for at least 10 to 15 seconds anyway, while doing the following step.

(2)Are you holding the Power button long enough when you try to restart the tablet? It will need to be held down for a few seconds (perhaps 5 or 6) while you wait for the TRIO start-up screen to appear. Once it gets there leave the tablet to boot up fully.
If that does happen without further glitches should be able to go back to using the tablet as before.

(Was it working even with a cracked screen? Were you able to get the cracked touch-screen - I'm assuming that was what is cracked- to accept your fingertouch-inputs? Can you select items from all areas of the screen? If it was doing THAT, and it does it again NOW, I'd forget about the cracked screen , put a screen-protector on my tablet and press on ahead! Lucky dog!)

A cracked screen will mean that you cannot use the on-screen keyboard, selecting icons to run programs etc., responding to alerts such as phone calls.

Contact the manufacturer for a replacement machine, your original tablet will not be repaired, so save any data or programs now!

The manufacturer does not cover accidental damage, but we instituted a program where you can turn your tablet with a cracked screen in (as long as you are still within your warranty period. The nice thing about this is that not only they give the least expensive route when you crack your screen, but you do not have to wait for repairs. They will simply send a replacement once the company receive your damaged one.

Replace it. I'm sorry but you can't get a screen repaired. The liquid crystals inside have either been cracked, crushed, or destroyed on the cracked area. :<

Yes touch screens are very sensetive.Because of the cracks on the screen ,the board can't read the command.The screen can be replaced only if you know what you doing however it can cost upto and around between $250 and $350 mark to repair by a professional.to get better ideas of what your up for research on Utube .

Can't exactly help you, but I'm in the same situation. I got a crack across the middle of the screen on my 43 while it was in my pocket. It seems like this might be a problem with the gen 8 tablets, but Archos is currently refusing to consider it defective.
