You may be able to scan that fading receipt. I've been able to get readable and acceptable results from receipts that I could barely read at all.
Welcome to the real world. Fading receipt print is chronic. In this high-technology world, the only reason I can think of for using that fading, heat-produced print is to rip off the customer.
*No returns or warranty without receipt*. Months later you manage to find your receipt but it's so faded it's unreadable. A lot of good it does you but it sure helps out unscrupulous retailers.
There needs to be a law that receipts last ten years...
