Hey Jim, I am not at all an expert on riding mowers but my uncle was recently looking at getting spare parts for his so I may be able to help a little. I think my uncle found a site that sold mower parts online. I would imagine that you could look up a site like that and search your part by the type of machine you have. You may also be able to contact their customer service for help more qualified than myself. Best of luck. http://www.pbequip.com/we-sell-accessori...Hey Jim, I am not at all an expert on riding mowers but my uncle was recently looking at getting spare parts for his so I may be able to help a little. Tim, Try the link below for your coil, they may also give you an alternate part number. You could also contact Honda small engines for an alternate replacement part #. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Sounds like the carb isn't being allowed to choke. If your cable is the wrong length or mis-adjusted, it might NOT be providing enough cable travel for the butterfly valve to close and choke.
The manual is on this link: http://engines.honda.com/parts-and-support/owners-manuals/GCV160 The manual depends on the serial number. It does not appear to have adjustable choke.
Brent, Most any auto parts store will have a manual choke conversion kit for about $10us.You will have to be a little creative to hook it up. But...your engine shouldn't need to be choked once it runs awhile and is still warm. I would look for other causes like binding linkages, unhooked springs and loose carburator mounting.
Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly. I looked up the Model HF2216 via US Honda power sites and did not come up with a manual. If you would state your geographic (not home address) location and the engine number off of the engine. U know this is a V-twin but not sure of the Hp rating and need the engine number for service manaul data. What your describing sounds like an automatic choke that needs adjusted. Pass me the engine number and I will get you the data.
you need to get the model number from the mower body and verify that it is correct the age should not matter some hardware stores work primarily on ariens mowers hope this helps
