Very strange! Assuming no programming has changed: check that all earpieces are tight into the radio. Unplug, check for audio without an earpiece and replug into radio. Make certain your batteries are FRESH (less than 1 year old) and fully charged. I am assuming you are using earpieces approved for the Motorola radio. Many speakers do not work and several earpieces are not designed well. Stay away from the auction site cheap ones. You get what you pay for, including failures. For several audio jacks to fail at once would be very unusual. Try a new earpiece. I suspect earpiece failure more than anything. All tests after this require checking programming and/or taking the radio apart.

BPR40 radios are dealer programmable using Motorola proprietary software and cable.

Fuse Location on Mag One BPR40

these usually use a diode for reverse polarity protection and no fuses. You will need a full schematic and probably a service manual.

Green light stays on bpr40

If this is after programming your radio needs repaired. We see this when some BPR40s are reprogrammed. Take the radio to your local service center or send to a qualified repair center.

Mt mag one bpr40 uhf 450/470 will receive but will not transmit. green light is on all the time

It probably has "busy channel inhibit" turned on in the menus, and the squelch is open, thus making it think there is a signal on the channel you're trying to use.

My mag one bpr40 will not transmit. the green light is on all the time. it will receive. how do i fix this problem

Green light coming on and staying on... Sadly nothing the end-user can do to alleviate this problem themselves. It is usually repairable by a trained/equipped repair facility.

Have two bpr40 need to find out the frequencys

The BPR40 is a dealer programmable radio. The frequencies would need to be read out using Motorola proprietary software. The only thing you can tell from looking at the radio is whether it is VHF or UHF. Model number AAH84K... is VHF and AAH84R... is UHF.
Best regards.

How do I connect Mag One BPR40 two way radio by Motorola to CP100 two way radio by Motorola? I already had about 8 CP100's and we just got 2 new Mag One's. Thanks.

The Mag One BPR40 is dealer programmable. You have two choices:

1) Reprogram your CP100s to match the new BPR40s. For this you would need to know what the dealer programmed the BPR40s to... OR
2) Take your BPR40s back to the place of purchase and request they reprogram them to match your CP100s. This should be a free service since you just purchased the BPR40s. They will need to know some settings from the CP100s to make the match.

Best regards.
