Need to change administrators password, to unlock computer

Go to Administration and then user accounts. If you cant find administration just search for user accounts and it should pop up. Once in user accounts you might need to unlock it by clicking on the unlock button on the top right, if you do please unlock it or you will not be able to change the password. You can unlock it by entering in an administrator password. Then highlight the user account you want to change the password on. Then click on the password then fill out the menu and you should be able to change your password.

If you have the administrator account unlocked now, then you just have to go into the control panel and select each user account in the User Accounts panel OR if its Windows XP Pro you need to go to administrator tools in the control panel and open computer management. In computer management you will see the users and groups. click that then right click each user and reset their password

f you can already login to this computer and you have administrator's rights, then you do not need the administrator's password. You can go to the Control Panel - User Accounts to set up other Users or change the password on the various Users as well as the administrator.
If you need the administrator's password to set up a new user then there is a way to remove the administrator password.
You need to download Hiren's utilities and make a boot CD with this utility. You most likely need to do this from another computer.
