How do I replace the power connection of a ASUS laptop that is defective

Seems the laptop connector has been disturbed, pull, tugged on. A connection most likely is loose in the machine(motherboard) or could be a defect in manufacturing. If new return it or ask the manufacturer for a repair/replace. They will most likely suspect customer damage. BE PERSISTENT, don't take no as an answer. Good Luck

may be the wire of the charger has got defect in it. check thoroughly. If your charger is OK it is problem with your motherboard.Replace it to get rid of the problem.

A fast check to determine whether you have a problem with the power adapter, power cord or the laptop's battery is to turn off the laptop, remove the battery, connect the power adapter, turn on the laptop & see if it works.
If the laptop works directly from the power adapter with the battery removed, then the power adapter is good. In this case we can suspect that the battery is defective.

Take it back to the dealer or the shop and show it to them.
