in the BIOS set the SATA controller to IDE this should fix the problem. And try with AHCI selected.

On your desktop simply right click and select gadgets from the menu. Now drag your downloaded gadget file(not folder,just the gadget) into an empty slot in the gadget window. Now you can add this gadget to your desktop.

For windows 7 to get gadgets back on the desktop you need to minimize all running programs and make sure you see your desktop. do a right click with your mouse on any empty space on the desktop and then in the menu that comes up do a left click on Gadgets and it will open up a window with all the options you can put on your desktop. to have it display on the desktop just double left click any of them and they will show on there.If you dont like some you put up you can just hover with mouse over it and it will give you an X to close it or little wrench which allows to customize the widget it self. Another way to get the gadgets on you desktop is to go to control panel under you start button and then if you are in category view which is if you have only few icons so to get to gadgets in upper right corner there is option that says VIEW BY: and here is where you choose large or small icons and you will see many more icons appear and one of them is gadgets icon. double click it and it goes to same screen as explained in beginning of solution. It is likely some sidebar gadget you've got installed that wants to use bluetooth.

Take a look at the installed gadgets, and see if that makes sense. To administer gadgets (I am assuming the sidebar is not opening properly), but do try to start it, then:

Start
Control Panel
Windows Sidebar Properties
View list of running Gadgets
Remove any gadgets that may cause the trouble.

Un-install Google toolbar and maybe even Firefox, then re-install without the Send to gadget.

If you just must have the Send to gadget, you can try to install it again.

press menu then start bk-copy then fourtimes arrow up. machine switches to maintenance mode. press start bk copy. what two digit error code does the display show off? Post here again

in start menu options u can find empwering technolgy frame work icon indiacted witha an e symbol. drag it to startup in start> programs
