How can I change the direction of incoming calls to various extensions?
Currently, our reception phone receives the first incoming call and then the second and third incoming calls (If reception is on the phone) will go to other extensions. I need to change these extensions.

Begin the transfer. With the caller on the line, press the "Transfer" key. The caller will automatically be placed on hold and you will hear a dial tone.
Connect the caller to the other party. Dial the extension of the party you wish to reach. When you hear the extension ring or after you've announced the caller, complete the transfer by pressing "Transfer" a second time. If the person does not wish to receive the call, press "Release" to disconnect from the dialed extension. Press the key beside the flashing arrow on the LCD indicator where the various lines are displayed to return to the caller.
Cancel an incomplete transfer. If you make an error when dialing and need to retrieve the caller, simply press the key beside the flashing arrow on the LCD indicator.
Park an incoming call. Parking a call at a designated extension allows the recipient to answer the call from any phone in the facility. With the caller on the line, press the "Park" key twice. If your system designates a particular extension for parked calls, the caller will be held at that extension. Otherwise, the caller is held at your extension. To specify an extension for a parked call, press "Park," dial the desired extension and press "Park" a second time. Replace the handset.
Retrieve a parked call. On any system phone, press "Park" and dial the extension on which the call is parked. You will be connected to the caller.

NEC Dterm Series I, through internal calls my phone flashes notifying me that I have a call coming through but it doesnt ring. I have tried the volume key ^, that didn't work. Can anyone help me?
Hi if you just want to silence the actual unit, most often you will find a small switch on the unit, that switches OFF the ringer, or often one can turn it down, via a control on the unit. Other times one can set it Off or down in volume via the settings, use the manual in these case to ascertain what to do.
Extension call forwarding is controlled by a timer, and they put these things in the manual. If your CF after 2 rings is from a call to a specific extension, from that extension, dial *713 and a 2 digit number from 00-99 seconds on the intercom. Start with 18.
If your call forwarding is from intercept, then you have a system programming issue and need to look in the installer's manual or check with your system programmer.
Partner, all releases. Examples Receptionist Call Routing. If you want calls to be
answered by the receptionist first, set the lines at the receptionist’s
extension to Immediate Ring and the lines at the users’ extensions to
No Ring. (This is the factory setting) Receptionist Backup. If you want all calls on a
line to ring directly at users’ extensions -with the receptionist
providing backup -set the line at the users’ extensions to Immediate
Ring. Then set the line (or lines) at the receptionist’s extension to
Delayed Ring. An incoming call that is not answered by a user within 20
seconds will also ring at the receptionist’s extension. Programming
To change the way outside lines or pools ring at an extension:
Press [ Feature ] [ 0 ] [ 0 ] [ System Program ] [ System Program ] [ Central Tel Program ].
Enter the number of the extension to be programmed for Line
Ringing. The green lights next to the line or pool buttons on the phone
show the current Line Ringing settings for all lines assigned to the
extension. (If a line is not assigned to a button, the green light next
to the button is off.) The following ringing options can be shown by
the green light next to the line button.
Immediate Ring - on steady
Delayed Ring - flashes slowly
No Ring - flutters quickly
To change Line Ringing for any line, press the line or pool button
until the button light shows the correct setting (the setting for the
currently selected line or pool also appears on the display).
Depending on how the private lines were programmed, you need to pull the ringing out of DIL 1:1 if it was assigned and put it into DIL 1:N. Look at programs 407-8 and 603-4.
