He are the steps you need to calibrate your printer

Label Length Calibration
Note: This is typically the only procedure required when first installing the labels.
1. Load the printer with media and ribbon.
2. Press the printer front panel MODE key until the CALIBRATE LED is lit.
3. Press the FEED key and allow the labels to feed.
4. When the labels have stopped press the MODE key once to save the value in memory.

Also open your printer driver preferences and make sure the label length is set to MORE THAN the length of your label. If your labels are 2 inches high and the preferences are set to a 1 inch label, the printer's sensor will stop looking for a gap after 1 inch of feeding. When this happens it will eventually find a gap and print, but you will waste a lot of material.

The printer prints one label and skips another one

First, I need to admit it. This is the worst printer I have ever used. I had all kond of troubles with it.
The skipping labels problem was my misery for 2 days to. I had to find out that my labels were falling out of the printing area generating a new page (label). Go back fix your width. Make sure your label fits one page (label). Print again. That's what I did. Good luck.

Advancing blank labels inbetween printing

Do you use adhesive labels? It looks like the printer is unable to make the difference betwen the labels. Verify that the printer it's not set on Continuous mode for the media type. Verify if there is any label (or pice of label) stiked on the upper media sensor (gap sensor). You can locate the upper media sensor using the User Manual (page 74). There is an User Manual available for download from Zebra website. You will find there precious information. The manual is very explicit and you will learn how to maintain your printer and how to troubleshoot some common errors. Clean your printer, assure to put the supplies on the right path, close the printhead and press Pause to enter in Ready state.
You can clean the sensor with an coton cloth dampened into isopropylic alcohol.

Hi there, I am printing on Zebra S600 using Seagull Scientific Driver, The printer only prints every alternate label that is prints one label and prints a blank. Thank you for your help

Skipping labels is usually a printer driver issue. You should use Seagull Scientific printer driver only if you are using the corresponding Seagull Scientific label design software. It is important to have the printer driver and label design software be from the same manufacturer.

Zebra 2746e will skip leaving a blank label while printing.

You need to calibrate. Hold down the feed key while powering the printer on, then let go. The printer will calibrate, print a config label, then fo into dump mode. Press the fee key again to go out of dump. Of your issue persists, there could be a problem with yoru media, or with the commands that you are sending to the printer.
