When i start my computer this allways popup say i need to reinstall my RTL120.bp1

Hello,

This might be an issue with a program attempting to load in startup that is either missing files or has been otherwise deleted without deleting its startup registry entry.

When you boot your computer, go to the start menu, go to run, type in "msconfig" without the quotes and press ok.

This will open a new window, go to the Startup tab, eye through the items one by one, if anything there is something you DON'T need to start with the computer, then you can uncheck the box and press OK.

This will require a restart. The best thing to try is to disable all startup to see if that fixes the issue, and then slowly activate what you KNOW is safe and necessary one by one!

Hope I helped!

Pc is hanged often, very very slow inspite of the prsence of the anti-virus, Quick Heal Internet Security 2010 with daily upgradation system

Sounds like your computer is running out of physical memory. Try this: Click Start, then RUN (or you can hold down the Windows Logo Key and tap the "R" Key). Now type: MSCONFIG <Hit the Enter Key>. Now click the Tab at the top right that says Startup. Uncheck Everything except your Anti-Virus or any other program you DO want to start up with the computer. Click OK and then reboot the pc. Once you boot up, you will get a popup box, click the checkbox to not show that box again and close it. That's it, that's the best single pc "tweaking" you can do. Cheers!

Upon turning on my pcthere's a note saying "cannot find gphone.exe....what am i going to do to remove that notification?

Go to Filehippo.com, download and install a programme called Ccleaner.

Once done, Click on "Tools" then "Startup"

Delete everything off the startup menu except for virus checking and firewall software. Amongst those titles you delete should be one relating to gphone.

This will take all the programmes out of you startup menu, that you don't immediately need on startup.

You can then use the uninstall function to remove and gphone related software from you laptop is so desired. Finally run the cleaner to get loads of web gunk off you computer you didn't know was there.

Assuming you're absolutely delighted, google Ccleaner, go to the website and make a small donation. Its a brilliant programme.

My son installed desktop maestro and his computer crashed

Try booting the PC, pressing th F8 key repeatedly as it trys to start.

You should see a page offering several modes of starting.

You can 1) Start in safe mode and assuming it work ok, use the control panel to uninstall the soft ware. Then reboot normally

or 2) Start in safe mode with networking, assuming this works, go to filehippo.com download and install a programme called Ccleaner. Using the "Startup" option, delete all programmes out of the start up menu execpt for antivirus and firewall programmes. Then reboot normally. If this doesn't work go to option 1.

Good Luck.

I suggest you go to Start/run and type in msconfig. Look at the startup programs and deselect the "HP Software Update". Also double check there isn't another entry for HP for the registration screen a startup. Also, go to start/all programs/sratup and see whats there

This should eliminate that popup for you.

Slowness and Audio Vibrations

firstly, your startup is slow more than likely because you have too many unecassary programmes running on start up, so download the excellent free ccleaner programme from the link below and analyse the system and run a clean up and also click the tools tab and startup tab, here you will see all the programmes running on satrtup, you can delete them in this programme from the startup, althogh this doesnt delete the entire programme, only the start up. http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ the noise from the audio files needs to be explained a little better, unless you mean the vibration from the dvd drive, if so this is common on some drives when they have difficulty reading files, or if you mean files that are on your pc are causing vibrations, the only thing i can think is that maybe your onboard mic volume or boost is set too high and is picking up the sound and reverbing.
