Unplug webcam from computer. Shut down computer. Connect webcam to computer. Re-boot computer. You might do a web search for: Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 driver, if you don't have a CD that came with the webcam.

is it a external web cam? if yes then you might have the installation cd for that. install the s/w and follow the wizard . it will be installed. without the installation cd you will have hard time finding the driver on web site.. you can check for the free driver on google search. put the model number in search bar to find the driver. download it and then try.
if its a new webcam then ask the store to provide you the driver cd or return it and buy from somewhere else. webcam always comes with the installation cd.

This is a hardware driver issue.

If your using a MS Windows based o/s on your computer.

Try this: open your internet browser so as to connect on line,then connect the web cam per the instructions and turn it on. This should automatically open the "Found new hardware" wizard, where you can/should chose to search the web for the appropriate software.

If that doesn't work try downloading a free program called "Driver Max" and see if that helps.

These suggestions might only get you the drivers needed, and not all the "bells and whistles" from the original CD, but at least it will work.

if you type in a search cam and then model followed by drivers
you'll be able to find somewhere in a page a free download

When you connect it to your computer windows will search for the drivers. When it asks you for the cd there is a name in the window which appears and there you can get the name of the device and go to the following link you will get the driver you are searching there :

well search on google for the webcam name and add at the end .. instalation drive you will find it

no problem there are many links available for your cam.

You can check the manufacturer's website for the drivers, there is usually a support link or tab or page that will list drivers. You can also have Windows Update attempt to search the internet and find them. Also try drivers.com and driverguide.com to see if any others have uploaded them there. Good luck.
