Go to the manufacturers website and look for a link for product or warranty registration. The warranty on some products doesn't need to be registered. The receipt is the warranty. Other products have a warranty card in the box that needs to be completed and returned to the manufacturer.
Hi. Here in uk, and in many other countries, the warranty is for 12months but, even if your guarantee leaflet says 2yrs, this is the global warranty site where you should be able to register your camera's ownership:-
The computer should have been registered after it was purchased. It has a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase and the warranty is non-transferrable. If your friend registered it in his name then the 1 year warranty is tied to him and cannot be transferred to you. If you re-register the computer in your name you will not qualify for any warranty work. I suggest you leave it in your friend's name(if he is a good friend) and if there is any problems with the computer have him contact MSI for warranty work. If the computer is over a year old then it is past the warranty date anyways(unless he got an extended warranty) so re-registering the computer in your name would allow for e-mail updates from MSI and any recall information for your computer.
