Amazon fire stick reset

Make sure that your wifi is a good signal,if you are using a lower tier internet service then it wont work,call your internet provider and verify that your internet is sufficient,also use 5ghz wifi,not 2.8ghz.
if this doesnt work for connecting then,
reset this way,
straight from amazon,reset firestick,
Please unplug the Fire TV stick from power source and then plug it again after 5 seconds.
Once the Fire TV stick is back on, please take batteries out of the remote and re-insert

also,xfinity remote controls work with firestik tv in place of the original remote,program it for a vizio tv and forget the original remote!
