Hello,
You cannot cook with a microwave oven as it is usually meant only for defrosting, re-heating and warming items as the "oven" can only cook fast. Bake Products cannot be used due to the fact the yeast in it need sometime to react properly with the other ingredients in it.

I have included a link to the user manual for your microwave to help you in this area!

#1 above is correct. Anything with yeast won't rise in a convectional microwave oven. In a regular gas oven, you could put the cake/cookie/bread batter with yeast in the oven just using the pilot light for heat to help make the batter rise before baking; not in a microwave.

Yeast will not rise using conventional microwave oven type energy. So, you can't have your microwave and eat it too ... (groan - sorry)

I have an electrolux convection model. the manual does not have suffiencient information on how to bake a cake. could you please explain me the precedure interms of the power selection, time required,...

Firstly I would suggest contact Electrolux for more info.
But in general all cakes are baked and no microwave energies are used.
An oven timer is critical to avoid over-baking.
