SOURCE: LCD/EVF screen come on but is "snowy"

The problem is the lens is not opening, If you look into the lens you can see it is closed. This will require a trip to the repair shop.

SOURCE: LCD Not on during oicture taking

LCD cameras eat batteries... i bought dollar store batteries for one of my cameras once.... one picture per set of batteries... I recommend you purchase a good set of rechargable batteries and a charger. I actually have two sets ... one in the camera one charging. Now on to the lcd screen... you need to look thru the menu for that camera to see if the setting for the screen is off. On one of my cameras the screen is actually defective... which in some ways is good as it less of a drain on the batteries... incidentally it is a kodak as well.

SOURCE: when i turn my camera on the screen is black. when

Try downloading the picture to your computer to see if it is also black. If so, then yes it may be a shutter issue. A stuck shutter is another common failure mode for digital cameras. The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. The camera may take black pictures (for shutter stuck closed), or the pictures may be very bright and overexposed, sometimes with lines, especially when taken outdoors (for shutter stuck open). To confirm a stuck shutter, put the camera in any mode other than "Auto", and turn the flash OFF (you don't want to blind yourself for the next step). Next look down the lens and take a picture. You should see a tiny flicker in the center of the lens as the shutter opens and closes. If no movement is seen, then you likely have a stuck shutter. If so, please see this link for further info and a simple fix that may help.

Can get LCD screen to turn on On Canon EOS 350D, working when reviewing photos!

If the LCD works when reviewing photos, then it appears the LCD is working. Can you see the menu when you press the MENU button?

If you're expecting to be able to use the LCD to compose your pictures, you're not going to with this camera. The LiveView ability is a relatively recent development in DSLRS, the 350D works as SLRs have worked for half a century, requiring you to use the viewfinder to compose your pictures.

Black screen while shooting, but still taking pictures not black

Nonononooooo fotomohamed, he can review just taken pictures on the LCD. The screen is working.

Actually, it sounds like you just accidentally pressed the DISPLAY button on the back of your camera. This manually turns the screen on and off in picture taking mode to save batteries (you would then use optical viewfinder). Just press it once and it should turn back on.
