I have a Yahoo account and I don't remember a secret question.

I did once have a lot of trouble trying to get into my account but clearing the cookies and history from my computer allowed me to access the account again. It used to be a pain needing to log in periodically as their system never seemed able to remember my password, but since I opted for phone verification I have had no problems (so far)

It seems that your account was hacked. If you don't have alternate email address, there's no way of getting it back. There must be some secret questions that you need to answer in order to solve the problem. Otherwise, you need to create a new account. Hope this helps.
